Best sushi restaurant in Göttingen, if you have the time. The sushi is freshly prepared to order. Since there is only one master at work and he has a love of detail, the large 2 person plate can take an hour if there is a little more crowds. The miso soup as a starter is a welcome consolation. But it's definitely worth the wait.

The food is great. There is no comparable sushi in Göttingen. The fish is of great quality and the rice in particular has a good taste. The waiting times are relatively long due to the fresh preparation, but as we were warned by the other reviews, it didn't bother us. If you have no problem waiting a little longer, you should definitely try the Tokyo Sushi Bar.

Lunch menu was very great. It consisted of a delicious miso soup with silk tofu, then there was a colorful sushi selection, the tuna and salmon on the nigiri were absolutely tender. The successful furnishings make you feel right at home. The cooperation is very friendly and courteous.

Just great, it's not easy to get in and out quickly. You should bring time with you. The sushi rice is great and tastes wonderful. Everything is fresh and really prepared with attention to detail. Would recommend the Tokyo Sushi Bar to anyone who wants to eat good sushi in peace.

Very long wait. 1.5 hours. But everything is freshly made and it was delicious. If you have time, definitely go there.

We had to wait almost 10 minutes to order, just under an hour for a couple of crab chips, then another half an hour for the main course and another 10 minutes for the bill. After a while, a few guests canceled the orders and left ... Our hunger that had accumulated over a long period of time was only very briefly satisfied at the end ...

You need to be patient and and not very hungry when going there, because they take long to get you your oder, but the Sushi they serve is worth waiting for.

Come, bring time and enjoy wonderful food! The restaurant is very nicely decorated in wood look, the service extremely accommodating and the sushi is freshly prepared, which you can observe, if you in between through the glass staircase up to the toilet.

These guys are SOOOOOoooo Sloww. Our food took forever to come. Even when we asked to pay, the guy took a really long time for us to pay by card. If you have limited time, this is not a good place.
